5 Quick And EASY Techniques To Help You Realize And Fulfill Your TRUE Goals In Life

This article explains 5 POWERFUL techniques to achieving and fulfilling ANY goal you wish in life.

Did you know that ‘Goal Setting’ is the secret to fulfilling ANY dream or desire you want in life?

Did you also know that SUPER Successful people use ‘Goals’ to attain the knowledge and wealth they have today?

Some of you reading this right now might agree and some of you might not.

That decision is yours to make.

The reason people find it too hard to achieve their goals is simple because they’ve set their Long-Term goals before setting Short-Term ones, or they just didn’t plan their goals out carefully.

Goal setting strategies are VERY important, especially for those who want to achieve Long-Term goals.

Well, your in luck because I’m going to share five ‘Goal Setting’ techniques to help you realize your TRUE goals today.

Your only requirement is to keep an open mind.

So, with that said, lets go to Technique #1.
Technique #1. Start with Short-Term goals.

Sometimes, people start with short-term goals unconsciously.

Why unconsciously?

Some of them may have considered the goals to be long-term at the time they planned them; and after achieving a goal, they realize that they are in fact, looking forward to a longer one.

Some are contented with their short-term goals, but after a while will realize that they also need to attain long-term ones.

Short-term goals seem to be our starting point for our Long Term ones.

They also motivate the person to plan for longer goals, which will usually take some time before achieving them in full.
Technique #2. Make sure you really want the goal.

By this, you have to ask yourself: “Do I really want this goal and will this goal give me a better life?”

Answering this ONE question will give you more passion and motivation to achieve your goal.

Some people often recall their past to find out Why and How they came up with such goal.
Technique #3. Speak up.

What I mean by this is you shouldn’t keep your goals to yourself only. By sharing your goals with other people it’ll help you get the support you may need in order to fulfill them.

The problem that usually occurs though is some people are just too shy to tell others about their goals for reasons like they are afraid they cannot achieve them in the end, or they lack the courage to speak their minds.

This is not a good habit to get into because when the time comes that you really need their support, you will have a difficult time getting it.

You’ll then be left to achieve your goals all by yourself.

Don’t make this mistake.
Technique #4. Write down your goals.

This strategy is critical and more advisable for those who have a long list of goals.

After writing them down in as much detail, it is advisable that you review them on a daily to weekly basis because this will encourage and motivate you to achieving them, plus, this will also keep that vision of your goal alive.
Technique #5. Stay on track and never give up.

Reviewing notes will help open your mind to see if you are on the right track. While on track, you may have to face challenges that might change your personality.

A person who is overconfident might suddenly feel depressed after finding out that he is going the wrong way in achieving his goal.

Thus this might lead to abandoning the goal.

Never be discouraged.

Facing obstacles is a test on how passionate one is to realizing his or her goals.
There you have it.

Give those a try and keep a visual picture in your mind everyday of you fulfilling that goal you desire so much.

5 Special Steps to Boost Your Happiness with Positive Thinking

“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior. Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.”― Gandhi

We are all chasing happiness is some form. Be it in the form of money, health, fame, love….We all live with the misconception that happiness can be achieved by possession of the things we hold so dear to our heart. Is that really true??

One of my favorite comedians and actor Jim Carrey rightly said “I hope everybody could get rich and famous and will have everything they ever dreamed of, so they will know that its not the answer.”

The happiness we seek stems forth from within. Within where your thoughts lay. Within where your feelings rest. Your mind and your heart is the within where true happiness resides.

So why aren’t we happy then? If its that simple, if its right Within us, how come we are all still chasing it..happiness I mean?

It all boils down to ONE single thought.

Ever notice how when something ‘not so happy’ is happening in your life, your heart and mind automatically go to the worse case scenario. That is the root cause of all unhappiness. That single starting point where the negative thinking spiral starts…that’s where we need to nip it in the bud.

Here is ‘HOW to Boost Your Happiness with Positive Thinking’ and nip that negative thinking in the bud :

You and only YOU can boost your happiness by focusing on positive things and reducing your negative thinking. You can do it with practice: Simply, by following a negative thought with a positive one. This practice will help to retrain your habitually negative thought patterns to bring more positive thoughts to your life.

Ratios especially the ratio of positive to negative thoughts is a major factor in our overall happiness. Our brains are constantly monitoring the emotional tone of our thoughts – too many negative thoughts and our brain responds by creating stress and sadness in our body. When we add more positive thoughts, our brain will create relaxation and happiness. By training yourself to follow (or dismiss) negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll improve your positive/negative thought ratio and be happier.

Now, How do you stay motivated to Stay Positive?

After you’re aware of your negative thoughts and feelings and work to counteract them for a few days, they will gradually begin to lessen. You’ll be able to concentrate more on what you want to do without experiencing distracting emotions and stress. This will make you more productive and energetic. And best of all, it will make you happier.

Step 1 – Start by Listing Happy Thoughts:

Start by taking about 15 minutes and list all the happy thoughts you can think of. Just use a piece of paper and make a long list, give it a good 15-30 minutes. List people and places that make you happy – good friends, favorite vacation spots, childhood memories and more. List things that make you happy – puppies, babies, the smell of a new car, a favorite dinner, a day off relaxing by a pool. List(happy list) anything and everything you can think of that makes you happy.

Step 2 – Awareness of Negative Thoughts & Feelings:

Just for this week, commit to pay attention to your thoughts. Whenever you catch yourself thinking about or feeling anything negative, sad or stressful, label that thought “unhappy.” Don’t worry if you have a lot of unhappy thoughts and feelings throughout the day, that is perfectly normal. Just pay attention and label them.

Step 3 – Instantly Follow With a Happy Item:

After you label an unhappy thought or feeling, follow it immediately with a happy item from your Happy List. You might pick one item to use all day long, or choose different ones each time you need them. Just bring that happy thing to mind for a second or two.

Step 4 – Smile SO much:

Whenever a negative thoughts comes up, replace it with a happy item from the list, but don’t forget to smile while doing so. A smile makes your mind calmer and every negative thought seem less stressful.

Step 5 – Make your personal Commitment to think positive:

Positively Affirm everyday(especially when those negative thoughts and feelings strike) by saying this to yourself : I will flip my negative/stressful thoughts and feelings and follow them with a happy thought.

Some special tips:

  • Please don’t judge yourself. We all have lots of unhappy and negative thoughts throughout the day. As you become more aware of them you might feel embarrassed or ashamed about how many you have. Don’t worry, it is perfectly normal to have all sorts of strange thoughts – we usually don’t pay so much attention to them.
  • Force a smile on your face as you bring your happy thought to your mind. This will help erase the effects of the negative thoughts.
  • As a few days pass, the vast number of negative thoughts and feelings often decrease. As if the brain gets bored being negative, because you replace the thoughts so quickly(and happily) with positive ones.
  • Make sure to remind yourself to do this task throughout the day. Don’t let a day go by without engaging with your negative thoughts and substituting positive ones.

Will you be waiting for negative thoughts to come along to think something positive? Add to this skill by making a conscious and planned effort to think positive thoughts throughout the day. Decide that you will think only positive thoughts for your entire lunch hour or during one of your breaks. Decide that you will only think positive thoughts while driving in your car or while riding the train/bus. Create times in your day when you will be “positive only”. This will give you even more practice at being positive and happy.

My question to you: How do YOU boost your happiness on a daily basis? Have you tried thinking positively on a conscious level everyday? Share your thoughts, questions and wisdom in the comments below. I’d love to read what you think.

The Success Factors To Wake Up Early And Be Productive

“The day I complete my sleep is the day i’ll change the world” – Lazy People!

If you can relate to not sleeping at night and then regretting it later, you have come to the right place! First of all I want to congratulate you, because the fact that you are here signifies that you really “want to get a lot from life.”

Great! That is what Personal leadership is. It begins from you. It begins from self awareness. It begins with with getting up early to be more productive and getting more things done.

Self awareness is the guaranteed step to become a millionaire.

That is what successful people do, right? That is what successful entrepreneurs do.

“We all have the same 24 hours in a day. Successful people use it, Lazy people abuse it”

Getting more things done is all about getting up early and being a Manager. Your routine don’t lie. If you want to see where your future belongs, you can reflect that in your daily routine.

No one ever became super successful by being a couch potato.

Successful people get up early for work. Ideally around 5 am. Not because that’s what all successful people do, but because this is wise. It is wise to give time to yourself. It is wise to manage your time efficiently. It is wise to utilize your Holy Hour.

What is a Holy Hour? No, i am not discussing the benefits of meditating.

Holy Hour is the time, early in the morning, before the sun rises. It is that peaceful and pristine time when you are far away from all the distraction, embracing the quietness around you and working on your inner self.

Your inner health reflects your outer health and work productivity.  By getting up early each day you work towards your inner well being. Doing so on a regular basis can make you a dramatically better person.

Holy Hour is that 60 minutes of time when you contemplate your goals, your purpose and your strategies. It is that moment when you think about your relationships and how you can make them better. You will be surprised to know that the answers to the questions you were searching for out in the world are residing deep within yourself. It is when you focus your energy on the right track. On the things that require your focus and attention.

Doing so it’s just like operating a DSLR. The way that you adjust your camera lens to blur out everything and keep your focus on your ultimate target. To get a beautiful picture, to get a beautiful result.

That being said, it is not as easy as it is described. It takes time to be building your concentration to the right place and focusing on the right track by removing all your distractions. It takes practice. People who contemplate deep in their life are the people who achieve big.

As we discussed in our post Top 5 Practices of Rich and Successful People we discussed deeply about the power that you reveal by utilizing your Holy Hour and thinking and contemplating.

Successful people do a weekly analysis of their to-do list and prioritize their goals. They know the importance of time. They know time is money.

I once read about the secret of Asia’s top CEO’s outrageous success,

“I make time to think” he said.

Every morning he spends at least 45 minutes with his eyes closed, deep in reflection. He’s not meditating. He’s not praying. He’s thinking.  Sometimes he’s analyzing business challenges, other times he’s thinking about new markets. Still other times he is being introspective about the meaning of his life and what he wants it to stand for. Often, he’s simply dreaming up new ways to grow personally and professionally. Every once in a while he will spend between six to eight hours doing this. Sitting silently with his eyes closed. Thinking.

Being thoughtful and strategic is step number one as you walk to greatness. Clarity precedes success. By thinking more, you’ll have a better sense of your priorities and what you need to focus on. Your actions will be crisp and deliberate and intentional. You will make better decisions and wiser choices.

More time thinking will make you less reactive. You will become clearer on the best uses of your time which will in turn save you time. Your think time will also provoke some some amazing ideas and inspire some big dreams.

My question to you is..

How can you be a positive source of energy to those around you when you yourself have no energy? How can you develop the best in others if you have not connected with the best within yourself?       How can you champion another person if you fail to see the champion in you?

Getting up early to do your inner work, enlarge your thinking, to sharpen your life’s philosophy or to review your goals is not a waste of time. Getting up early for utilizing your holy hour is not a waste of time!

The holy hour infuses every remaining minute of your day with a perspective that elevates each area of your life. It will transform you. Make you better as a leader, as a parent, as a human being.

Apart from  achieving scientific evidence, Holy Hour has it’s deep routes in Hindu Tradition and is also mentioned in knowledge and wisdom rich Vedas. This Holy Hour is called “BHRAMA MUHURAT” in sanskrit Which means the “HOLY HOUR“. There are still various Gurukuls that follow the tradition of brahma mhoorat along with other Buddhists, and Chinese philosophers.

I believe that now you have enough reasons to waking up early and if you still fail to do so just remember this following powerful quote:

“There will be plenty of time to sleep when you are dear”-Benjamin  Franklin

So join the club of early risers. Be more wise. Be more Productive.

Here are 5 Practical ways that can help you get up early in the morning. ( Try to wake up around 4 or 5 am) :

1. SET YOUR GOALS.

This may seem obvious but it can have a tremendous impact on your life. People don’t wake up early just because they can not find any reason to do so. Even if they wake up, they already waste enough of their time thinking to take next action. Understand that this routine is new to you. So unlike waking up at regular time and knowing what you should do next is pretty simple. You’ve been following that routine for ages. But this is the beginning of your new journey so set goals early.

The night before you go to sleep at night , think of all the actions and your to do list that you need to perform tomorrow. This way you can save a lot of your time and it will also give you a reason to wake up early.

Plan your day out and make enthusiastic goals that force you to get out of bed without hitting the snooze button.

Goals breathe energy and life into your days. Goals inspire you and give you something to get out of your bed each morning. Take out your journal and prioritize your goal. It will light a fire in your belly and flood you with passion.

2. THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND.

a) DON’T EAT AFTER 8 P.M : This will help you sleep more deeply as well as more sweetly. It’s the quality not the quantity of sleep that’s more important.

b) KEEP YOUR GIZMOS AWAY :Research shows that people who sleep with no distractions sleep more peacefully and have high quality REM SLEEP.

c) SLEEP IN COMPLETE DARKNESS AND NO NOISE: This ritual can be helpful to people especially who are insomniac. Lavender essential oil when used as a aromatic fragrance can help relieve stress and bring more peace.

d) SLEEP MAX. BY 11 PM : Don;t stress yourself out. Your body need rest. Without a proper sleep research shows that you can be less productive. In order to have fresh mind at least have 6-7  hours of sleep.

3. DON’T KEEP HUGGING YOUR BED!

After your alarm clock goes off, jump out of bed and start your day. The more time you lie in after the alarm clock goes off, the greater the likelihood that the chatter of your mind will say something like, “stay in bed, sleep a bit more. The bed is warm, you deserve it.” You want to stay away from those evil forces as much as possible!!

4. SET YOUR ALARM 30 MINUTES EARLY.

This little trick can help you change your life. Think like you are getting up at 5 am. By the time you are up and out of bed , you’ll realize that it’s only 4.30 AM.

Voila ! Sounds silly but it works!!

5. KEEP AWAY!

A night before , when you set your alarm clock keep it at a distance where you can’t reach easily. So doesn’t matter if you don’t want to wake up early and get going, You have to have get out of your bed to stop that annoying buzzing of your alarm clock!

You’ll get annoyed as hell at first, but you will thank me that you actually woke up!

6. GIVE IT AT LEAST 21 DAYS.

Research has found that it takes at least 21 days to form or delete a habit. You need some time to get used to it. It wont be easy at first but you need to keep going, okay?

Personal change is a process that can be hardest at the beginning. Be it waking up in the morning and be productive or losing your weight. It does not happens in a day or in a week. It takes time to overcome the pull of your old habit. But after four days from now, your life will so much better and you will feel so much powerful and strengthened. Always give yourself at least 21 days to install a habit.

DON’T GIVE UP!

What Does It Mean To “Self Improve?”

Self Improvement has become mainstream. In the last few years, since I have been writing articles and submitting them to article sites, I’ve noticed that the category of “Self Improvement” has been showing up lately when it was never there before. To me, this is very good news.

But what does it really mean to “Self Improve?” What are we really improving when we self improve? And what “self” are we improving?

We each have two “selves” – our wounded self and our core Self. Our core Self is our true self, our natural soul self – our essence. Our core Self is our passion, our joy, our gifts and talents, our ability to love, our creativity. We come into this life as our core Self, and when this Self is loved and valued by our parents, we continue to naturally grow our God-given gifts and talents and manifest the fullness of our beings. This Self wants to improve by learning the skills necessary to fully express itself.

But when this Self is not seen and valued in the way we needed, we create an alternative self, a self we hope will have control over getting the love we need and avoiding the pain we can’t handle – a self to help us feel safe. This is our false self, our wounded self, our ego self. This self is filled with the false beliefs that we absorbed as we were growing up – beliefs that end up limiting our true, core Self. This self does not needs improving – it needs healing.

The term “self improvement” can sometimes be a bit misleading, because we do not want to improve our wounded self. We do not want to improve on the ways we lie, manipulate, and avoid in our attempts to have control over getting love and avoiding pain. We don’t want to improve on our many addictions to substance and processes. We don’t want to improve on our anger, our compliance, our withdrawal and our resistance.

We want to heal it.

Healing and improving are not the same thing.

We can certainly self-improve when it comes to skills. We can improve in sports, in art, music, writing, cooking. We can improve our health and wellbeing by improving our diet and exercise program. We can improve in the knowledge we need to be more successful regarding work and money. We might be able to improve our relationships by learning new communication skills. But what if acquiring new knowledge and skills does not improve our health, or our ability to earn money, or our relationships? And what if learning new skills does not bring us more joy and inner peace? It may mean that we need to heal the underlying fears and false beliefs that cause us to be anxious, depressed, stressed, guilt-ridden, shamed, withdrawn, angry, blaming, or sad.

Sometimes Self Improvement just means practicing a skill, and others times it means that we need to participate in a deep healing process. For example, many people try to improve their health by losing weight and exercising. But if their food addictions are covering over unhealed pain, they might not be able to just change their diet. They might need to open to a healing process in order to eventually improve.

If you are really trying to self improve but find yourself stuck and unable to progress, or find that you have no joy or inner peace, you might want to open to the possibility that unhealed pain and beliefs are blocking your progress and causing your pain. It is easy to improve yourself when there is nothing blocking the way. But if you have old false beliefs about your adequacy and worth, these beliefs may be blocking your ability to take loving action in your own behalf. All your efforts to self improve will not bring you the satisfaction you are seeking if you have beliefs that are keeping you limited in fully expressing your true, core Self. If you are stuck, then you need to seek out a healing process, such as the Inner Bonding process we teach, that will move you out of the fears and beliefs that limit you. Healing these fears and limiting beliefs will open the door to improving your life in all ways!
