How to Stop Being Needy And Live With Self-respect

Did you know that self-respect is impossible if you are needy? Did you know that neediness is the main reason for low self-esteem, low self-confidence, for feelings of inadequacy and feeling extremely unattractive and being rejection-prone?

Did you know that your neediness will undermine any and all attempts you make to create healthy relationships? Did you know that this neediness can be readily erased from within so that it never again has the opportunity to ruin your life?

Finally, did you know that you can begin to reclaim your self-respect today in an effortless way that will make you confident, self-reliant, independent, self-sufficient, strong, and attractive? How does one do that you ask? Let me explain.

The main reason for your feelings of neediness is that you have negative memories of abuse, neglect, abandonment, rejection, and/or of feeling unwanted/unloved/unaccepted/criticised or humiliated from your past, living inside of you. These memories shape and condition how you think and feel about yourself from that point forward. They form a false sense of personality and make you believe that you are someone that you are not.

These memories make you feel like something is wrong with you and that there is something missing within, that you feel helpless to remedy. In other words, you are left feeling defective and deficient. What’s more, they make you believe that the only way to feel better is to seek some soothing in the form of approval, acceptance, love, assurance, validation etc. from others around you.

Unfortunately this kind of grovelling only serves to make you feel worse and actually needier, as others withdraw from you and your toxic neediness. So what is the answer to this mess?

The answer is to address the neediness itself because it – and it alone – is the problem. This is addressed easily and rapidly by simply erasing the negative memories that generate the neediness.
